How is the technician’s travel calculated for services?

Travel expenses correspond to the technician’s journey to provide an in-person service, such as installation, technical assistance, maintenance or cleaning. They are calculated separately from the service price. This fee does not cover shipping costs for orders sent by parcel carrier or pallet, nor the mere transport or delivery of rental equipment; those items are quoted separately. For an estimate, provide the destination location and any address details you know: street, town or city, postal code and country. A more precise location helps us estimate the route more accurately.

For municipalities included in the metropolitan rate, the current fixed rate applies. For all other destinations, the round-trip road distance from the Install Beer base is calculated. The total kilometers are rounded up: the first 500 km are charged at €0.70 per km, and any kilometers over 500 at €0.65 per km. The amount excludes VAT.

This estimate is approximate and may vary depending on the route and access. It does not confirm coverage, availability or acceptance of the service. If a reliable route cannot be verified, we will not provide a made-up figure; the team must review the case. The final amount will be the one in the accepted quote.
